Title: SR Informatica IICS

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled ETL Informatica IICS Developer to join our data engineering team supporting a leading Life Sciences customer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), strong data integration skills, and a deep understanding of data workflows in regulated environments such as pharma, biotech, or healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

+ Design and develop ETL workflows using Informatica IICS to support data integration across clinical, commercial, and regulatory systems.

+ Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable ETL solutions.

+ Implement data quality and governance rules to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., GxP, HIPAA).

+ Optimize performance of ETL jobs and troubleshoot issues across cloud and on-prem environments.

+ Maintain and enhance existing data pipelines, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.

+ Document technical specifications, data mappings, and workflow logic for audit and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Experience

+ 5+ years of ETL development experience, with at least 2 years in Informatica IICS.

+ Domain expertise in Life Sciences, including familiarity with clinical trial data, lab systems, or regulatory reporting.

+ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git.

+ Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle, Snowflake, or Redshift.

+ Knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare and pharma.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

+ Informatica certifications (IICS, PowerCenter) are a plus.

The annual salary for this position is between $90K- 100K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
