    School Social Worker | $50/hr | Rockford, IL | 35 hrs/week | In-Person | Nov 2025–Nov 2026

    Position Summary

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking full-time School Social Workers to support students in Rockford, IL. This in-person role begins around the turn of the semester and runs for one year. The Social Worker will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of IHPs and IEPs for students requiring social-emotional support.

    + Setting: In-person (replacing virtual roles)

    + Hours: 35 hours/week

    + Start Date: November 20, 2025

    + Duration: 1 year

    + Pay: $50 per hour

    + Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 paid during spring break, plus $500 at end of school year

    + Travelers: Recommended

    Responsibilities

    + Provide social work services and interventions to students

    + Collaborate with IEP/IHP teams, educators, and families

    + Participate in meetings and contribute to student plans

    + Maintain documentation and comply with district and state guidelines

    + Support students’ emotional and behavioral development

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + Holds a Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement

    + MSW or LCSW may be required depending on state or district

    + CPR certification, TB/PPD clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Compliance with all federal, state, and local employment requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
