Behavioral Aide – School Setting

Pay Range: $19–$26/hour (DOE)

About the Role:

Are you passionate about supporting students in their educational journey? Amergis Healthcare is seeking dedicated Behavioral Aides to work in school settings across Burbank. You’ll provide 1:1 or small group support to students with behavioral and academic needs, collaborating closely with educators and therapists to foster success and independence.

Responsibilities:

+ Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and ABA strategies

+ Support students with academic and behavioral goals

+ Assist with speech, occupational, and physical therapy activities

+ Provide crisis intervention and behavior management

+ Help students develop daily living and self-care skills

+ Maintain accurate documentation and data collection

+ Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent (required)

+ 2+ years of pediatric or classroom experience (preferred)

+ CPR certification and health screening (as required)

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills

+ Passion for helping children thrive
