McLarty Associates is seeking a bright, resourceful individual for a paid, spring internship/graduate fellowship to support our Brazil and Southern Cone practice. We are seeking an individual who can commit to working part-time from January through May 2026, although earlier availability (November or December) is also welcomed.

Internship/graduate fellowship responsibilities generally include:

+ Conducting extensive research on public policy, international, and business issues

+ Writing memos, compiling biographies, preparing presentations

+ Monitoring regional news outlets

+ Attending and reporting on speeches, panel discussions, and policy forums of interest to the firm and clients

+ Assisting professional staff with general office and administrative support

+ Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

We are seeking individuals who are:

+ Strong critical thinkers

+ Inclined to take initiative and anticipate the needs of the team

+ Attentive to details

+ Able to operate in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

+ Able to remain poised under pressure and juggle multiple projects at a time

+ Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Office 365, and other business applications and social media platforms.

Ideal candidates for this position should also:

+ Understand international politics, economics, trade, technology, and government relations.

+ Relevant Bachelor's degree. Master's degree degree a plus.

+ Applicants should also have a robust background, demonstrated interest, and/or experience living or studying in Latin America, with preference for experience in Brazil and/or Argentina.

+ Applicants must be fluent in either Portuguese or Spanish, preferably both.

+ Preferred candidates will also have experience researching in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and have exceptional English writing skills.

+ Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current payrate for this internship is: $18/hr. This position is not benefits eligible.
