    Job Description

    We are seeking a Technical Lead with strong experience in COBOL, DB2, and provider data systems to support modernization initiatives. This role involves leading efforts to transform legacy mainframe applications by integrating modern technologies such as Python, Java, Kafka, and cloud-based APIs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead technical design and development for modernization projects involving COBOL and DB2.

    • Drive data transformation and data mapping across legacy and modern platforms.

    • Integrate APIs and ensure seamless communication between systems.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

    • Work with Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging.

    • Provide guidance on best practices for blending mainframe systems with web/cloud technologies.

    • Contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Proven experience with COBOL, DB2, and mainframe systems.

    • Hands-on experience with Java, Python, and Kafka.

    • Strong understanding of API integration, data pipelines, and cloud platforms.

    • Ability to work independently and lead technical teams.

    • Exposure to modernization frameworks and hybrid architectures. • Familiarity with provider data and healthcare-related data structures.
