    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Network Solutions Architect to sit on-site 5 days a week in Fairfax VA for a leading, venture-backed technology firm is transforming enterprise networking and cybersecurity through Secure SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud-native managed services. The company empowers global organizations to modernize their IT infrastructure for the cloud era, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer success.

    Role Overview:

    We’re hiring two experienced Senior Solution Architects to lead technical engagements with federal customers and partners. You’ll design and deploy advanced networking solutions, support proof-of-concepts, and provide strategic guidance on secure infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Lead technical discussions and solution design for SD-WAN and cloud-native deployments.

     

    - Create high-level and low-level architecture documentation.

     

    - Conduct hands-on validation of network designs and new product features.

     

    - Deliver professional services and support strategic customer engagements.

     

    - Develop technical content (whitepapers, KB articles, etc.).

     

    Salary Range: $180k - $220k

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 15+ years of overall experience in IT/networking, with 5+ years as a Solutions Architect.

     

    - Deep expertise in enterprise or service provider WAN/LAN design and operations.

     

    - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, and Multicast.

     

    - Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Shell, Python).

     

    - U.S. Top Secret Clearance - Experience with next-gen firewalls, IDS/IPS, and malware prevention.

     

    - Familiarity with SaaS architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, VMware).

     

    - Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm).
