    Description

    Position Summary

    The Manufacturing Team Lead is tasked with overseeing the production operations, providing a smooth and efficient manufacturing process. You will be responsible for optimizing the day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. This position will be an integral part of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include collaborating with team leads, production supervisors, and production managers. The role ensures that the production processes can meet production goals in a timely, safe, and professional manner.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Communicate daily/weekly objectives to team members

    + Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities

    + Train employees on Manufacturing Processes

    + Train and ensure the safe use of equipment

    + Submit reports on performance and progress to Manufacturing Manager

    + Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

    + Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

    + Communicate progress and strive to meet production goals and targets.

    + Recommend changes in procedures and specifications for continuous performance improvement of all production related tasks.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    + Experience as Production Lead/Supervisor or similar role

    + Experience in using various types of manufacturing equipment and tools

    + Lean manufacturing principles including value stream, flow, pull, and eliminating waste are a key focus to this role.

    + 80% time on the line building and testing products

    + Experience with enforcing adherence to standard work and work instructions across production line support.

    + Experience in electromechanical or electronics factories/production environments

    + Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications or similar workflow tools).

    + Organizational and leadership abilities

    + Communication and interpersonal skills

    + Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

    + Proficiency in following work instructions accurately.

    + Positive attitude and keen attention to detail.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

    + Capable analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential.

     

    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

     

    + Ability to stand for extended periods.

    + Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

    + Adeptness in moving around the office, manufacturing facilities, and other workspaces.

    + Clear vision for precision work and attention to critical dimensions and quality control callouts.

    + Ability to actively engage in team discussions, presentations, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.

    + Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines in manufacturing settings.

    + Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for operating equipment and performing assembly tasks.

    + Visual acuity for conducting quality inspections on small components.

    + Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other industrial elements, while adhering to all safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and workplace safety regulations.
