Description
Position Summary
The Contracts Administrator will oversee all contract administration tasks associated with Business Development and new business pursuits. The Contracts Administrator will participate in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and contract initiation of Government services as either a prime offeror or subcontractor. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers during contract execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Administer, review, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts, task orders, and modifications that are of a variety of types and complexity (FFP, CPFF, T&M, etc.)
+ Work under general supervision to develop solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements and make recommendations to management.
+ Review contract terms and conditions to identify and assess risks related to financial provisions, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranties, intellectual property rights, termination clauses, and indemnification. Recommend and negotiate risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization's interests.
+ Prepare contract briefs and summaries, maintain well-organized contract files, and monitor contractual performance for compliance
+ Serve as primary point of contact for all phases of contract administration with internal and external stakeholders in accordance with company policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
+ Oversee project alignment with scope, schedule, and budget while conducting regular client collaboration meetings.Ensure timely submission of all contractual deliverables (CDRLs), data calls, and reporting requirements.
+ Assist proposal manager with developing and submitting proposals, ensuring compliance and high-quality.
+ Support audits requested by Government agencies or Prime Contractors.
+ Ensure clear and consistent communication with Program Managers, Business Developers, and other team members
Required Qualifications
+ US Citizenship required
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Minimum of 6 years of contract administration/management experience to include the following:
+ Working knowledge of Government contracting processes
+ Working knowledge of Government regulations, FAR/DFARS, and other agency supplements
+ Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
+ Ability to own work product development and demonstrate initiative and accountability for assigned task areas, effectively coordinating with team members across various organizations
+ Ability to work independently within a team environment and with a customer service focus
+ Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
+ Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
+ Ability to interact effectively, including excellent verbal and written communication skills, with people at all organizational levels
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
+ Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.
+ May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.
+ Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
+ Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed
+ Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
