Where you'll be:
This position will be based in the Kinston, NC and will support Assembly Line1, 1st shift.
All about the role:
The Assembly Team Lead will provide leadership and direction to an assigned team and will be the point of contact for the assigned area. The Team Lead will focus on strategic continuous improvements and area processes, to deliver line Stability and drive employee engagement improvements. You will provide leadership to the team to ensure that all Safety, Quality, Cost and Customer Delivery goals are achieved and help to engage and develop team members through utilization of Skills matrix and coaching skills.
What you'll do:
+ Responsible for inspiring high performance, accountability, collaboration, promotes team and individual development.
+ Owns and develops JDS and Skills matrix and creates a positive work environment, fostering open communication and dialogue.
+ Ensures effective performance evaluations, appropriate counseling measures and accurate and timely timecard inputs.
+ Supports the Electrolux Management System and implements continuous improvement processes and cost savings.
+ Leads line balancing, time studies, SMED, and problem solving.
+ Supports Autonomous maintenance and environmental initiatives.
+ Knowledge and understanding of the energy policy of the plant, which must follow and promote, as well as knowledge and identification of the Significant Energy Uses (SEUs) and its operational controls, maintenance, objectives, actions plans and energy indicators performance.
Qualifications:
+ Industrial technology degree or equivalent work experience.
+ Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents & drawings and write detailed reports and well-versed in process improvement methodologies.
+ Experience in Microsoft Office and knowledge in ERP, Time and Attendance, and OEE systems.
+ Ability to speak Spanish, a plus.
