The EVDD Business Operations Lead focused on Capital within the EV, Digital & Design (EVDD) organization is a critical role designed to oversee the entire non-product capital process, budget, forecast, and operations to drive operational productivity, cost efficiencies, and ensure optimal business performance of organizational capital budget from inception to project completion. This position will work closely with each EVDD skill team operations leaders to ensure smooth, consistent day-to-day operations across the global organization, effective financial forecast management, enable a streamlined approach to capital project requests, order placement, and deliver continuous improvement of business process. Position will oversee and lead the implementation of the 5-year capital plan for the global organization. The EVDD Operations Capital Lead will report to the EVDD Operations Manager and maintain close cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent operational practices and excellence in organizational performance.

+ You will lead the EVDD non-product Capital Budget process
+ You will manage the business needs versus budget, trade-offs, tough choices and project delivery
+ You will be the Single Point of Contact for EVDD on all non-product capital project items, questions, and processes
+ You will partner with a small team of highly skilled, self-motivated, experienced and networked individuals of ongoing operations helping facilitate continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Organizational Efficiency
+ Develop, implement, and maintain non-product capital operational system, process, and policies that promote organizational efficiency and productivity
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline non-product capital process
+ Maintain ongoing communications to ensure proper operations within function, consistent with EVDD processes
+ Collaborate with skill team operation leads to ensure non-product capital operational activities align with strategic objectives
Financial Management
+ Responsible for governance, execution and oversight of non-product capital budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and financial planning process for all EVDD functions
+ Partner with finance to deliver a robust, data-driven forecast by skill team with action plan from project inception to final delivery
+ Manage data collection; monitor and analyze key budget metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce costs, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service to function
+ Identify cost-saving opportunities, eliminate redundancy, and implement measures to optimize non-product capital utilization
+ Manage and support procurement of non-product capital approved projects.
Data and Analytics
+ Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reports and insights to leadership on non-product capital status
+ Support executive level reporting of EVDD budget delivery health, risk, progress, and value delivered based on insights derived from financial metrics
+ Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues
+ Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes
Cross-functional Collaboration
+ Work closely with other business units, including Finance and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment and efficient operations
+ Collaborate with other Business Operations Leads within Ford to share best practices and maintain consistency across functions
+ Strengthen the organization’s process discipline through education & communication
+ Streamline non-product capital process by increasing self-service and data transparency
Qualifications** **:
+ **Bachelor's degree required** ; advanced degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field a plus
+ **3+ years** of experience in **operations management** , preferably in software, automotive, or related industries
+ **2+ years** of program or **project management** , with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
+ **2+ years** of **budget managem** ent and financial planning experience
+ Proven track record in **process improvement** and implementing operational best practices
+ Excellent **analytical and problem-solving skills** , with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
+ Proficiency in **data analysis tools** and business intelligence platforms
+ **Excellent interpersonal skills,** with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics
+ **Experience** in executing large-scale programs or initiatives
+ **Bias for action** ; a propensity to drive items to closure without sacrificing quality or timeliness
