This pivotal role is dedicated to the Ford Class Carriers program, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery and implementation of cutting-edge transformational technologies.

    Your Mission:

As a Senior Technical Program Analyst, you will be the linchpin in providing technical guidance and subject matter expertise for a variety of ship service electrical systems, Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems, control systems, and cybersecurity measures for the Ford Class Carriers. Your insights and leadership will be instrumental in navigating the complexities of integrating advanced technologies into these formidable vessels.

    Responsibilities:

+ **Transformational Technology Oversight:** You will assist PMS 378 in overseeing the delivery and implementation of transformational technology on CVN 78. Your role will involve monitoring the development and progress of these technologies, ensuring they align with in-yard need dates, and identifying any risks that may impede their timely delivery.

+ **Progress Tracking and Reporting:** Meticulously track and report on the progress of transformational technologies. Your ability to identify and mitigate risks will be critical in maintaining the project’s momentum.

+ **Action Item Management:** Collaborate with PMS 378S PAPM to respond to program actions. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive action item responses, point papers, white papers, and briefings to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.

+ **Administrative and Technical Support:** Provide administrative support for Government-issued evaluation criteria in contract solicitations and shipbuilding statements of work. Offer technical support for Technical Advisory Reviews (TARs) and Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) to ensure the highest standards are met.

+ **Subject Matter Expertise:** Leverage your deep knowledge of ship control systems to provide invaluable insights into cost, schedule, and technical performance of software development, development testing, and the ship modernization process. Your expertise will be crucial in activating these systems onboard CVN 78 class carriers.

+ **On-Site Engagement:** Be prepared to visit and work aboard the aircraft carrier at its homeport or other ports, ensuring that your guidance is directly applied where it matters most.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

+ A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field equivalent.

+ Over 20 years of professional, applicable experience.

+ An active DoD Secret Clearance.

+ Proficiency in MS Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

+ Exceptional communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

+ The ability to interface efficiently with both technical and non-technical team members.

    _Desired:_

+ A Master’s Degree in engineering or a technical field equivalent.

+ Prior Navy (active duty) experience, especially on aircraft carriers.

+ Experience with NAVSEA and/or PEO Aircraft Carriers.

+ Previous experience managing technical issues for Navy systems.
