Your role and responsibilities
Role Overview:
The Procurement Analyst will support procurement operations within a multi-billion dollar acquisition program. This role is essential in ensuring timely, compliant, and value-driven purchasing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and properly routed for approvals.
* Execute purchase orders in alignment with procurement policies, maintaining fairness, transparency, and competitiveness.
* Collaborate with procurement leads, specialists, contracting officers, technical teams, and suppliers to ensure contractual requirements are met.
* Maintain thorough records of procurement actions, including contract awards, modifications, and closeouts.
* Monitor and ensure timely execution of procurement activities to support program goals.
Qualifications:
* Strong background in procurement, contract management, or supply chain operations.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required technical and professional expertise
* Minimum of 2 years experience in procurement or supply chain management.
* Experience conducting procurement and procurement analysis in federal or public-sector environments.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience interacting with clients and stakeholders.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments.
* Familiarity with supply market trends, supplier capabilities, and supply chain best practice
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the US government
Preferred Skills:
* Experience working in federal procurement or supply chain roles.
* Prior experience in the aviation and/or construction industries.
