    At Batteries Plus, our people are what power us. As an Outside Commercial Sales Representative, you'll be the face of Batteries Plus for our business customers-building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and driving growth across your assigned territory. You'll combine your sales expertise with product knowledge and customer service excellence to help commercial clients power their operations efficiently and effectively.

    What You'll Do

    + Grow your assigned territory by identifying, qualifying, and securing new commercial customers.

    + Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to maximize sales and satisfaction.

    + Develop and execute account-specific action plans that align with business goals.

    + Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold calls and in-person visits, to generate leads and new business.

    + Prepare and present customized product and service proposals to meet customer needs.

    + Collaborate with store teams to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and customer service.

    + Reactivate inactive or lost accounts through proactive outreach and follow-up.

    + Support the use of B2B ordering solutions to enhance customer efficiency.

    + Review territory sales reports and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

    + Partner with Accounts Receivable to assist with collection activities when needed.

    + Maintain a strong understanding of competitor offerings and market trends.

    What We're Looking For

    + Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct B2B or commercial sales.

    + Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals.

    + Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

    + Strong analytical and organizational abilities with a results-driven mindset.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms.

    + Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    + Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within your assigned territory.
