Fulltime Days: Rotating Call on Weekends

Monday-Friday : 7 am-3:30 pm- 5 days a week

(Must be within 30 minutes of facility for on call requirement)

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under general supervision, the Cath Lab RN assists with all diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath and specials labs as monitor or circulator, provides individual nursing care, administers medication, starts IV’s, operates equipment as needed, prepares patients for examination, documents appropriate information, interacts with patients and physicians, assists with orientation/education of all new Cath Lab employees, assists with maintenance of staff competency checks and scheduling of in-services, assists with performance improvement, performs related duties as assigned

What qualifications you will need:

+ Texas State RN License or compact license required.

+ Associate Degree required, or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ Previous Cath Lab experience preferred.

+ Previous Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred.

+ EMR: Allscripts experience preferred.

+ Due to call must be within 30 minutes of the facility
