    Rate of Pay: $19.00 per hour

    Schedule:

    + Community Pre-Voc Program: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00/2:00 p.m.

    + School-to-Work Program: 11:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.

As an Employment Trainer Substitute, you'll empower the people we support to build workplace skills, find meaningful employment, and thrive in their roles.     What You'll Do

    As an Employment Trainer Substitute, you will:

    + Provide on-the-job training and support to individuals with disabilities to help them meet workplace expectations.

    + Promote inclusion, independence, and productivity in community employment settings.

    + Offer encouragement and guidance to address work-related and social challenges.

    + Assist with job development by matching individuals' skills and goals to suitable employment opportunities.

    + Maintain accurate documentation of progress and outcomes.

    + Collaborate with staff and community partners to ensure successful employment experiences.

    + Participate in required trainings to stay informed on best practices in vocational support.

     

    What You'll Bring

     

    + Education: High School Diploma or GED (TASC) required.

    + Experience: One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

    + Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.

    + Other Requirements:

    + Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the community.

    + Ability to complete all required training and certifications.

    + Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
