    Our client, a manufacturing and production company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you may be responsible for the following:

     

    + Conducting talent assessments to identify skill gaps among current employees working within the QA function.

    + Facilitating training sessions using various methods, including one-on-one coaching, workshops, job shadowing, and mentoring.

    + Measuring and evaluating training and facilitation methods to ensure the effectiveness of the material presented to employees.

    + Performing periodic audits.

    + Carrying out additional duties outside of normal responsibilities as needed.

     

    The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and be an excellent team player, aligning successfully with the organization’s values.

     

    Job Title: Quality Assurance

     

    Pay Range: $18.50 to $19.50 an hour depending on shift.

    Needed Skills

    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read or understand information related to work activities. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division. Push, pull, lift or carry up to as much as 60 pounds occasionally, and up to 25 pounds frequently. Must be able to stand for long periods of time in accordance with the required schedule shift.

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Ensure the quantity, quality, labelling, and addressing of outbound and inbound orders are correct

    + Check the contents of orders filled by PIT operators

    + Report on all shortages, damages, and mis-shipments

    + Communicate with production, shipping, warehouse, or other departments as needed

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + 1+ year of previous experience performing quality related job duties in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

    + Ability to stand for long periods of time

    + Strong organizational and communication skills

    + Ability to maintain a great attendance and tardy record
