Production Coach / Supervisor (2nd Shift)
**Location:** Roscommon County, Michigan
**Salary Range:** $65,000 – $75,000
**Shift:** 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM; must be available until 1:00 AM for overtime)
**Relocation:** No – local candidates only

**Reports To:** Operations Leadership
**Direct Reports:** Up to 40 hourly employees and 1–2 team leaders
**Overtime:** Straight time after 45 hours, time-and-a-half after 60 hours
About the Opportunity
The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team has partnered with a **l** arge, well-established automotive supplier to recruit a 2nd Shift Production Coach/Supervisor for its Roscommon, Michigan facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for supervising production personnel, ensuring safe and efficient manufacturing operations, and driving performance in quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
+ Supervise production operations to meet daily safety, quality, and productivity goals.
+ Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and vacation coverage.
+ Train, coach, and develop production employees and team leaders.
+ Ensure product quality and proper labeling per established standards.
+ Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
+ Maintain accurate records of production, scrap, and timekeeping.
+ Communicate effectively across shifts and departments.
+ Lead and participate in 8D problem-solving meetings.
+ Support ISO 14001 and TS 16949 compliance initiatives.
+ Drive housekeeping and organization improvements within the work area.
Qualifications
+ **Bachelor’s degree required**
+ **Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing supervision** or leadership experience required.
+ Knowledge of **metal stamping, welding, and JIT assembly** is a plus.
+ Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
+ Proven commitment to **safety, quality, and continuous improvement** .
+ Ability to motivate and lead diverse hourly teams in a fast-paced environment.
**Pay Details:** $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
