    About the Role

     

    Adecco is currently assisting a local auto auction facility in recruiting for a **Customer Service Representative** in Brandywine, MD. This is a **contract-to-hire** opportunity offering full-time hours and long-term potential for the right candidate.

     

    As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers — handling calls, processing documentation, and ensuring all customer interactions are professional, efficient, and accurate.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Handle incoming customer calls and provide excellent service

    + Process orders, assignments, and data entry into internal systems

    + Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally

    + Prepare and process paperwork for auction day, securing necessary approvals

    + Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

    + Provide general office support including filing, word processing, and clerical tasks

    + Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

    Qualifications

    + Minimum **2 years of work experience** (customer service or office environment)

    + Strong **verbal and written communication** skills

    + Excellent **problem-solving** and **time management** abilities

    + **High call volume** experience required

    + **Dispatch experience** preferred

    + **Typing speed:** 30+ WPM

    + High attention to detail and accuracy

    + Ability to work in a **fast-paced environment**

    + Perfect attendance and reliability required

    + Must have **reliable transportation** (location not metro accessible)

    + Willingness to work **overtime** as needed
