Job Title: Field Service TechnicianJob Description

Our Client is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join their team at the Cheyenne, WY worksite. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting customer systems utilizing Direct Digital Control Technology.

Responsibilities

+ Serve as the local contact for technical issues.

+ Ensure that systems operate properly within controls, sensors, and software.

+ Verify field devices utilizing a laptop.

+ Travel to client sites to support and troubleshoot systems.

+ Work with engineers on the startup and commission of customer systems in the electronic, electrical, and pneumatic space.

+ Follow drawing packages and update them as needed.

+ Set up workstations with all necessary software.

+ Communicate with the project manager regarding project updates and timelines.

+ Troubleshoot any issues throughout startup and maintenance.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

+ Commissioning and validation of equipment.

+ Experience in HVAC systems and building automation.

+ 2+ years of experience in data center, installation, field service, or service validation.

+ Proficiency with multimeter and TCP/IP protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in building automation is preferred.

+ Ability to work collaboratively with a team of engineers and technicians.

Work Environment

The worksite is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with working hours from 8 AM to 4 PM. The team consists of 1 project manager and 4 technicians, totaling 30 people. Upon going direct, technicians will receive a company truck and cellphone. The role involves frequent communication with project managers and requires updating drawing packages as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $46.00/hr.
