Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator - Dermatology

We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Research Coordinator to join our dermatology-focused team, working on industry-initiated clinical trials. You will manage a variety of studies, engaging with patients and ensuring smooth trial operations.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate and manage 11-15 clinical studies, ensuring all protocols are followed accurately.

+ Engage with 20-25 patients per week, providing support and ensuring participant retention.

+ Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator and clinic staff to ensure successful patient recruitment and enrollment.

+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical trial activities.

+ Communicate effectively with sponsors, ensuring that all study requirements are met.

Essential Skills

+ Extensive experience in clinical research, particularly in interventional clinical trials.

+ Strong clinical coordination skills with a focus on dermatology.

+ Excellent bedside manner and strong soft skills.

+ Proficiency in problem-solving and effective communication.

+ Ability to receive and act on direct feedback professionally.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Medical Assistant (MA) certification and/or phlebotomy certification preferred.

+ Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Vietnamese is highly desirable.

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.

Work Environment

This position is fully onsite, operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a lunch break from 12 PM to 1 PM. The work location offers easy access with a full parking lot, and lunches are often catered by sponsors. You will be part of a dynamic team of 7-10 Clinical Research Coordinators, reporting to the Director of Operations. The company, established over 30 years ago, is a bustling private practice and clinical research site, known for its high volume of sponsor-initiated studies.

This is a Contract position based out of Fountain Valley, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
