Job Title: Printer OperatorJob Description
Join our team as a Printer Operator, where you will conduct paper feed tests and operate printer prototypes to ensure product quality. This role involves hands-on testing, data entry, and collaborating with test engineers to assess product performance.
Responsibilities
+ Operate prototype development products for test purposes, including loading paper and removing copies.
+ Document and clear any operational problems, ensuring smooth workflow.
+ Enter test data into the computer system accurately.
+ Provide feedback to test engineers on product performance.
+ Conduct various testing activities such as paper feed reliability, print/copy quality, and robustness testing.
+ Test competitive printer products and sub-systems.
+ Review output for defects and document findings.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in reliability testing and repetitive motion tasks.
+ Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds.
+ Basic computer skills, including data entry and using a mouse.
+ Attention to detail and commitment to product performance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with inserter machines is beneficial.
+ Proven track record of good attendance and reliability.
+ Job history involving long shifts with standing for extended periods.
+ Longevity in previous employment is preferred.
Work Environment
Work in a controlled and clean lab environment located in Lexington, Kentucky. The position requires weekend shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.57 - $15.57/hr.
