Verifies software design and functionality against requirements and acceptance criteria focusing on the integrated, complete system. Design and execute test plans that cover a wide range of scenarios. Identify and report defects that affect system performance or user experience. Collaborate with software development teams.

• Develop comprehensive system test plans to ensure software meets design and functional requirements

• Create and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing

• Execute system and software test cases (manual and automated)

• Document testing phases and defects to improve future test planning

• Analyze test results to report defects or issues

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure system testing reflects end-user needs

• Work with software development teams to reproduce and debug issues found during testing

• Validate fixes and ensure corrections are effective and do not introduce new issues

• Assess system and software performance and behavior under various conditions, including real-world conditions

• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product design, functionality, and usability based on test outcomes

• Facilitate and participate in meetings to discuss test plans and results with stakeholders

• Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies

• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps practices

• Proficiency with Application Lifecycle Management tools such as Azure DevSecOps and Jira

• Experience with testing tools such as WinAppDriver and Playwright

• Desktop and web application testing experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills working with complicated data sets

• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain difficult technical issues

• Creativity and curiosity in finding software and system flaws

• Interest in civil/military flight operations and aeronautical data (Desired)

Must be a US Citizen

Clearance Required: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US DoD Secret or Higher

Minimum Years of Experience: Required - High School Diploma and at least fourteen (14) years related experience, or BS degree from and accredited school and at least eight (8) years of related experience, or MS degree from an accredited school and at least seven (7) years of related experience
