Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Job Description
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up hydraulic CNC Press Brakes or Punch Presses to form parts according to specifications and documenting progress. The role requires maintaining efficiency in a high-volume environment and ensuring minimal to zero scrap levels while identifying material defects throughout runs.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate hydraulic CNC Press Brakes or Punch Presses.
+ Form parts accurately according to blueprints and specifications.
+ Document progress and maintain records of production.
+ Ensure high efficiency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
+ Maintain minimum or zero scrap levels during production.
+ Identify and report material defects throughout production runs.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 6 months experience in blueprint reading.
+ Minimum of 6 months using measurement tools such as protractors and calipers.
+ Minimum of 6 months operating a press brake or punch press.
+ Minimum of 6 months CNC machine operating experience.
+ Experience in setting up machines with PLC program and ability to edit.
+ Ability to lift 60+ pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years experience in a sheet metal facility is preferred.
+ 2+ years experience on press brake or punch press is preferred.
+ Experience doing 4+ changeovers per day is preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and spacious with climate control provided through heating and air conditioning. The team size is composed of 10 members per shift, with shifts running Monday through Friday as follows: 1st shift from 6am to 2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am. The dress code requires steel or composite toe shoes, jeans or docker pants, and safety glasses. Nails must be shorter than 2 inches, and earbuds cannot be worn on the floor. Smoking is allowed only in cars, and cell phones must be stored in lockers or cars. First-day orientation includes a class from 7am to 9:30am, and candidates should arrive at 6:45am for parking and entry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
