About the Role

**We’re seeking a** **well-rounded carpenter** who thrives on variety and craftsmanship. While the focus is on **trim carpentry** , this role is ideal for a **jack-of-all-trades** who can confidently handleeverything from formwork and rough carpentry to selective demolition and minor plumbing/electrical tasks. You’ll be involved from **conceptual development through project completion** , contributing to high-quality commercial builds.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform trim, rough, and finish carpentry

+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical plans, and models

+ Operate and maintain construction equipment and power tools

+ Assist skilled trades and equipment operators

+ Assemble/dismantle scaffolding and temporary structures

+ Excavate, fill, and compact earth

+ Conduct selective demolition

+ Load/unload materials and prepare construction sites

+ Support craft workers and participate in on-the-job training

+ Travel to job sites as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

True Carpenter Skills:

+ Framing and finishing

+ Installing doors, hardware, cabinets, ceiling grid/tile

+ Drywall work and backing installation

+ Concrete finishing, form setting, and rebar tying

+ Brick/block laying

+ Minor plumbing and electrical work

+ Layout using sight level/transit

+ Shooting grades/elevations

+ Reading drawings/shop plans and performing field verifications

+ Strong communication and organizational skills

+ Proficiency in English for instructions and safety compliance

Work Environment

**You’ll be working on** **commercial new builds** , including pre-engineered metal structures. Flexibility is key, as projects may vary in scope and location. We value team players who take pride in their work and adapt to changing site needs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
