Job Title: Fabrication Technician

Pay: $20 - $23

Shift: 7:30am - 4pm

Job Description

Join our innovative team as a Fabrication Technician, where you will play a crucial role in fabricating materials based on provided templates, using a variety of tools. This position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, including a lunch break from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The role involves both indoor and outdoor work and may eventually require travel across the country. A keen attention to detail and computer savviness are essential.

Responsibilities

+ Receive materials and follow templates to fabricate materials required for systems.

+ Utilize heat guns, cutting wheels, hand tools, and power tools effectively.

+ Perform detailed physical counts of inventory items, including parts and finished products.

+ Handwrite and securely attach tags to items, ensuring accuracy and legibility.

+ Record accurate dates and counts on inventory tags and records.

+ Double-check counts to resolve discrepancies and validate inventory records.

+ Utilize barcode systems to assist in inventory tracking and validation.

+ Organize inventory items systematically for easy counting and retrieval.

+ Maintain a clean and orderly work area during the audit process.

+ Compile and report audit findings to the Inventory Manager.

+ Document any discrepancies or issues encountered during audits.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in fabrication and production.

+ Proficiency in data entry and inventory management.

+ Skilled in using hand tools and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Exceptional attention to detail for accurate counting and tagging.

+ Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage inventory items.

+ Basic math skills for performing accurate counts and calculations.

+ Good verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation.

+ Familiarity with barcode systems and basic computer skills.

+ Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes up to 50-60 lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
