Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler

Job Description

Join our dynamic receiving department as a Warehouse Material Handler, where you will work in a team environment while your individual contributions are recognized and tracked. This role requires energy and enthusiasm, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the receiving department by handling materials and inventory control.

+ Use RF scanners to manage inventory and track returns efficiently.

+ Maintain an organized and safe workspace, ensuring that pallets and aisles are clear.

+ Independently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.

+ Operate with speed and agility, walking at a fast pace for 8-12 hours per day.

+ Utilize a 12ft staircase ladder safely, ensuring comfort with heights.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with warehouse operations, preferably within a receiving department.

+ Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory control processes.

+ Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work effectively within a team while contributing individually.

+ Comfort with heights and using ladders.

Work Environment

The role is based in a warehouse environment, specifically in the receiving department. The space includes pallets full of products and empty pallets with narrow aisles in between. You will be working alongside several other team members, and certified operators will use electric pallet jacks. Please note that no cellphones, smart watches, or other electronics are allowed in the warehouse. Acceptable footwear includes sneakers, boots, or steel-toe shoes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
