Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Pasadena, Texas. As part of our accounting department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing administrative support. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic metal fabrication industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process daily wire transfers for customer transactions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, especially for high-value payments.

• Research, upload, and allocate freight invoices to customer accounts while ensuring accuracy in expense classification.

• Accurately input import data and miscellaneous information into accounting or internal software systems.

• Provide administrative support by collecting and verifying open enrollment forms and completing related tasks as required.

• Reconcile monthly expenses for international holdings and ensure compliance with government regulations.

• Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and streamline accounting processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with accounting principles, such as charts of accounts, expense categorization, and data entry processes.

• Ability to handle high-value financial transactions with confidentiality and precision.

• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Experience with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and invoice processing.
