Job Title: Installation Technician

Job Description

As an Installation Technician, you will assist with the installation of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), performing tasks such as site preparation, framing, roofing, and finishing work. You will operate and maintain construction equipment and tools, load and unload materials, and ensure a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with the installation of ADUs, including site preparation, framing, roofing, and finishing work.

+ Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools.

+ Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.

+ Perform general site clean-up and ensure a safe and organized work environment.

+ Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks on schedule.

+ Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor.

Essential Skills

+ 2-3 years experience in taping, drywall, and mudding.

+ Ability to operate basic construction tools and equipment.

+ Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.

+ Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a construction environment.

+ Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

+ Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

+ Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with construction, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Basic understanding of blueprints and electrical systems.

+ Mechanical aptitude.

Work Environment

Work in an outdoor construction site environment with exposure to various weather conditions. The role requires physical demands such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Gardena, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
