Job Summary and Responsibilities
+ Provides the professional care necessary to achieve the goals of the Cardiac Fitness center program; the achievement and maintenance of optimal physical and psychological functions in patients with post acute coronary heart disease.
+ Serves as a role model of cardiac fitness by integrating the role components of clinician, teacher and consultant.
Job Requirements
+ Exercise Physiologist, must have a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology and training in cardiopulmonary from an accredited University.
+ One year's internship or work experience in cardiac rehabilitation preferred.
+ Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from American Heart.
+ Proficient in basic arrhythmia recognition. Completed a basic arrhythmia course.
+ Must have knowledge and experience of the following: Cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
+ Pathophysiology of coronary artery disease.
+ Patient education methods

Pay Range
$32.32 - $48.07 /hour
