Job Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing maintenance work orders for various apartment complexes throughout Playa Vista.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and repair building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.

+ Address minor repairs such as patching, painting, and replacing hardware.

+ Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems.

+ Complete apartment turnovers to prepare for new tenants.

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and other electrical components.

+ Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to assess crane condition and identify problems.

+ Replace worn or damaged parts and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

+ Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and repair work.

+ Adhere to strict safety protocols and ensure all work is performed safely.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance.

+ Experience with HVAC preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to perform routine maintenance and diagnose issues.

+ Capable of completing work orders in a customer facing setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Playa Vista, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
