CNC Machinist - $35-$40/hr - Climate Controlled Facility
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate CNC machines, including multi-axis lathes, to produce large parts with long cycle times.
+ Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of machines to ensure optimal performance.
+ Utilize tools such as calipers and micrometers for precise measurements and quality inspections.
+ Engage in the programming of machines using M code and G code.
+ Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 5 years experience in lathe multi-axis machining.
+ Proficiency in working with materials such as aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and stainless steel.
+ Experience in machine shop leadership roles.
+ Strong skills in blueprint reading and machine setup.
+ Familiarity with aircraft assembly and mechanical structures.
+ Experience with Fanuc, Haas, and Mazak programming systems.
+ Ability to measure materials to the thousandths of an inch

Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled, clean, and organized shop. Choose from various shifts, including Monday to Thursday from 5:30 am to 4 pm or 4 pm to 2:30 am, and weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday with hours of 5 am to 5:30 pm or 5 pm to 5:30 am. Weekend work offers 36 hours of work paid as 40 hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
