Job Summary
As a Telecom PC Analyst, you will administer voice solutions for over 1,500 users, providing support and resolution for Avaya VoIP systems, programming phone sets, managing voicemail, troubleshooting cabling and line issues, and coordinating with service providers, all while leveraging your technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
Job Description
We are looking for a **Telecom PC Analyst.** This position will be **full-time contract** and **onsite in Lyon Station, PA.** Occasional travel is required to various PA client locations up to 20%.
What You’ll Do
+ Program phone sets (digital, IP and analog)
+ Perform Moves, Additions, Changes (MACs)
+ Program requested feature changes
+ Provide voicemail support
+ Program mailbox
+ Complete password resets
+ Add or delete user mailboxes
+ Provide break/fix services on telephones
+ Troubleshoot and resolve phone-/data-cabling issues
+ Knowledge of station cabling and jacks
+ Assist in identification and resolution of other vendor line/circuit problems
+ Troubleshoot issues related to lines/trunks (SIP/DID)
+ Coordinate and act as focal point for problem resolution involving service provider
+ Performs other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
Required:
+ Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in cabling within the telecommunications industry
Preferred:
+ Hands-on experience in programming and configuring telecommunication devices, such as phones
+ A+ Certification or equivalent technical credentials
+ Familiarity with performing various PC-related tasks and responsibilities
Physical Demands
+ Ability to exchange accurate information with all levels of the organization
+ Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and manual dexterity
+ Some heavy lifting may be required; occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds
+ Lifts over 50 pounds must be with proper assistance or lift equipment
+ Work is performed in both an internal and external environment with occasional exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures.
+ Climate controlled, well lit, ventilated office space, as well as, plant environment that include heat, cold, fumes, odors, dust and loud conditions.
+ May be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$24.00-$25.00/hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
