Schedule Options:

+ 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM CST

+ 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST

+ Includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch

+ Pay Range: $16.00 – $17.50/hour

+ Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Contract

About the Role

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Health Information Management (HIM) Specialist, where you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate and organized medical records. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about supporting healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare, scan, index, and retrieve medical documents with precision.

+ Reconcile accounts and manage document workflows.

+ Answer phones and assist with general HIM-related inquiries.

+ Perform quality reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

+ Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.

+ Use Microsoft Office Suite and internal systems to manage records.

Qualifications

+ Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of experience in medical records.

+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word.

+ Attention to Detail: Ability to organize documents sequentially and maintain accuracy under pressure.

+ Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
