Entry-Level Helpdesk Technician

Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Helpdesk Technician to join our IT support team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology and eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues, providing timely and effective support to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.

+ Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

+ Assist with password resets, account access, and basic application support.

+ Document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.

+ Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or senior technicians as needed.

+ Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

+ Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications.

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, user-friendly terms.

+ Customer service experience or strong interpersonal skills.

+ High level of reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.

+ Coursework or certifications in IT fundamentals (CompTIA A+, ITIL, etc.).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
