As a key member of the Astronics LSI Accounting Controller’s team, you’ll help ensure the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial reporting for a high-performing subsidiary within the Astronics Corporation.

You’ll partner across functions and locations to strengthen financial control systems, drive insightful analysis, and support process improvements that make our business smarter and more efficient.

    What You’ll Do

+ Own the financial reporting process, ensuring all reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with US GAAP and Astronics corporate policies.

+ Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.

+ Review customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition methods.

+ Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.

+ Act as a trusted business partner to other departments — helping non-accounting leaders understand the financial story behind the numbers.

    What We're Looking For

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.

+ Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and SOX compliance.

+ Excellent analytical and communication skills — you can translate complex financial data into clear insights.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.

+ Attention to detail, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

+ A mindset focused on quality, integrity, and continuous improvement.

+ Preferred: CPA certification, public accounting or manufacturing experience, aerospace industry exposure, and advanced Excel skills.

    Why You’ll Enjoy Working Here:

+ Flexibility that works: 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off

+ Professional growth: Continuing education support, certifications, and exposure to governance, risk, and compliance tools at a global scale.

+ A culture that values balance: Work with a high-performing, motivated team that also promotes positivity and collaboration.

+ Competitive rewards: Benefits start the first of the month after hire, quarterly bonus tied to company profitability, 401(k) with 3% company contribution, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid holidays (including a full Christmas week shutdown), and comprehensive health/vision/dental coverage.

    Compensation & Benefits:

+ Base salary: $85,000 - $100,000 influenced by several factors including experience, skill set, education, certifications, market conditions, and business needs.

+ Health & Well-being: Health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, FSA, HSA, and additional voluntary coverage options.
