    The BI COE within the AI Transformation Office (AIT) is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive strategic and tactical outcomes across MCAPS. As **Director, Buisiness Intelligence Audiences** , you will lead a high-impact team responsible for delivering business intelligence solutions that empower our business partners, leveraging the latest in Microsoft technologies—including Microsoft Fabric and PowerBI. You will be at the forefront of transforming the BI experience with an AI-first approach, ensuring that data integrity, quality, and consistency remain central to our mission: surfacing the right data, at the right time, with one source of truth for MCAPS decision making.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Planning & Execution

    + Lead the BI Audiences & Segment/Business Unit BI team in designing, developing, and delivering BI solutions that support MCAPS goals and priorities.

    + Drive the transformation of BI user experiences through AI enablement, partnering closely with the Fabric Product Group and other stakeholders.

    + Optimize delivery lifecycle and costs by simplifying semantic models and accelerating time-to-market for data solutions.

    + Expand governance and portfolio management processes, ensuring clear prioritization, value realization, and effective cross-MCAPS business alignment.

    + Play a critical “Customer Zero” role, partnering with product groups and field teams to accelerate feature development and showcase AI-driven BI leadership.

    BI and AI Solution Delivery

    + Partner with business stakeholders, segment teams, engineering teams, and vendors to capture requirements and translate business needs into actionable BI and AI solutions.

    + Manage the end-to-end BI solution delivery lifecycle, including design, development, testing, launch, and measurement of solution value.

    + Collaborate closely with engineering and vendor teams to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with technical best practices.

    + Lead user engagement and adoption efforts, ensuring solutions meet the needs of end users and drive measurable business impact.

    + Oversee ongoing sustainment of BI and AI solutions, including proactive issue identification, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution.

    + Establish and maintain feedback loops with stakeholders to continuously improve solution quality, performance, and relevance.

    Team Leadership & Development

    + Model, coach, and care for a diverse team, fostering growth, empowerment, and a culture of excellence.

    + Attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring the BI COE remains a destination for the best and brightest in business intelligence.

    Data & Analytics Excellence

    + Serve as a trusted expert in data, directing teams to identify relevant data types, address gaps, and apply best practices in data management, integrity, and governance.

    + Lead complex analyses to address business questions, synthesize insights, and present results through dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

    + Drive innovation and efficiency, introducing methods that enable reusable, self-service analytics and automation of reporting processes.

    Collaboration & Influence

    + Establish and leverage relationships across MCAPS and AIT, ensuring quality data sources and optimal adoption of analytical tools and insights.

    + Influence partner teams to develop, adopt, and improve tools and techniques, driving actionable insights and business impact.

    Qualifications

    Required/minimum qualifications

    + Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

    + OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 6+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

    + OR equivalent experience.

    Additional or preferred qualifications

    + Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 8+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

    + OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 12+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 3+ years people management experience and/or informal/indirect team leadership experience.

     

    Business Analytics M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
