*SUMMARY*
Acts as lead technical assistant in preparing patients for visits and procedures
*The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Medical Assistant, with a strong preference for those who have worked with oncology patients.*
*Hourly Breakdown of salary range: Minimum $20.67 - Midpoint $25.96 - Maximum $31.25*
*JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES*
*Maintenance of Instruments*
* Clean and prepare instruments in accordance with institutional policy and center guidelines.
* Prepare and stock rooms with needed instruments.
*Equipment Maintenance*
* Transport equipment across the institution as indicated.
* Notify the appropriate resource (e.g., Biomed) as needed for equipment repair.

*EDUCATION*
*Required*: High School Diploma or Equivalent
*Preferred*: Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or US Military medical services training program.
*WORK EXPERIENCE*
*Required*: One year Medical assistant experience or with preferred education no experience is required.
