We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
SAP Business Network
The global economy has been rapidly evolving from enterprise-centric to network-centric. No enterprise does business alone today. Buyers, Suppliers, Service Providers, Contract Manufacturers, Logistics professionals – companies today rely heavily on their connections to their extended ecosystem to operate effectively. They need an intelligent and open network that delivers enhanced visibility, greater efficiency, and improved collaboration to achieve supply chain resilience and thrive in the face of disruption
SAP already "owns" the largest Procurement Network in the world and SAP’s global operations and footprint in large enterprises allow us to leverage a network effect with our massive installed base. We will win with our unified strategy, instead of siloed networks, a “best-of-suite” approach – a “network-of-networks” that includes partners and brings together existing best of breed solutions like Asset Intelligence Network, Logistics Business Network, as well as Direct and Indirect Procurement Networks into a multi-enterprise Unified Business Network.
SAP Business Network (SBN) has been identified as one of the strategic growth areas for SAP. Our vision is to elevate our intelligent enterprise to the “Network of Intelligent Enterprises”. We build on a strong and leading cloud portfolio, together with other innovations, all on top of the SAP Business Technology Platform. In our diverse and globally dispersed team, we are looking for a Head of Product Management for SBN Applications who can bring a unique perspective, innovative ideas, and a proven track record of success in strategic partnership management to help us achieve our ambitious goals.
What you will do:
+ UX Strategy & Vision: Define and evangelize the long-term UX vision and strategy for SAP’s Business Network, aligned with organizational goals and customer needs. Shape roadmaps to deliver cohesive, innovative, and competitive experiences.
+ Leadership & Team Building: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary UX team (including UX Researchers, Product Designers and Content Designers). Cultivate a collaborative environment that empowers creativity, growth, and accountability.
+ Human-Centered Design: Champion a customer-centric approach in all UX practices. Ensure the voice and needs of users are central to decision-making through research, data analytics, and continuous feedback loops.
+ Product Partnership: Partner with Product Management and Engineering to integrate UX into product planning, prioritization, and execution. Influence the end-to-end journey, from discovery through delivery and post-launch optimization.
+ Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of technology trends (e.g., AI, automation, mobile, cloud, and immersive experiences) to proactively inject innovation into the Business Network’s UX, anticipating and exceeding market expectations.
+ Customer Advocacy: Serve as an ambassador for SAP’s customers, balancing business goals with user needs. Engage directly with clients and partners to understand pain points, gather insights, and communicate the value of excellent UX.
+ Metrics & Impact: Establish and track key performance indicators to measure UX quality, usability, and business impact. Use data to celebrate wins, guide improvements, and inform strategic investment.
+ Change Management: Drive organizational adoption of design thinking, agile methodologies, and iterative improvement. Foster cultural change that values experimentation, empathy, and continuous learning.
+ Thought Leadership & Evangelism: Represent SAP’s UX vision internally and externally through speaking engagements, publications, and industry events. Position SAP as a leader in enterprise UX excellence.
What you will bring:
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
+ 15 years of progressive experience in UX, Product Design, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in global organizations.
+ Proven track record designing and scaling user-centric experiences for complex B2B platforms or enterprise software.
+ Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic impact, team leadership, and innovation across digital products and services.
+ Exceptional cross-functional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
+ Comfortable working in a matrixed, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
+ Ability to advocate for design at the executive level and influence digital transformation across business units.
+ Experience with internationalization, localization, and designing for diverse, global audiences.
Desired Attributes
+ Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire teams and rally the organization around a compelling UX future.
+ Deep empathy for users, and a strong bias toward action, experimentation, and results.
+ Strategic thinker who can balance innovation with operational excellence.
+ Comfort operating at both the tactical and strategic level, willing to roll up sleeves when necessary.
+ Outstanding storytelling, influencing, and presentation skills.
+ Passion for mentoring and developing the next generation of UX leaders.
