About the role
As an Architect you will make an impact by contributing to innovative solutions. You will be a valued member of the AIA team and work collaboratively with managers, team members and clients.
In this role, you will:
+ Design and implement scalable data processing solutions using Spark in Scala to meet business needs.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SparkSQL into existing systems for enhanced data analysis.
+ Develop and optimize Spark applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
+ Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights that drive business decisions.
+ Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Spark-related projects.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Saint Louis, MO. What you need to have to be considered
+ 8+ years extensive experience in Spark in Scala Spark and SparkSQL demonstrating proficiency in data processing.
+ Have a strong understanding of data architecture and the ability to design scalable solutions.
+ Experience in Service Fulfillment and Finance & Accounting domains is highly desirable.
+ Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in data analysis.

• Certified Spark Developer Apache Spark Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:
Application will be accepted until October 31, 2025
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000- $150,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
