In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the aviation industry by designing and implementing flight management systems that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to develop and test system requirements, perform system integration, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop flight management system requirements

+ Design and implement flight management system architectures and interfaces

+ Perform system integration and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards

+ Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies

+ Support the certification process for flight management systems

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role

+ Knowledge of flight systems and avionics

+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

+ Proficiency in using engineering tools and methodologies for system analysis and design.
