    School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Thousand Oaks, CA

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an in-person school-based role in Thousand Oaks, CA. This full-time position is available immediately and runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year.

    Position Details

    + Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + End Date: June 12, 2026

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday

    + Hours: 35 hours/week (7 hours/day)

    + Grade Level: Elementary

    + Setting: In-person at elementary school sites

    + Openings: 1

    + Contract Length: Full school year (25–26 weeks)

    + Local Pay Rate: $78/hr

    + Travel Weekly Pay: $3,584

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct student evaluations and assessments

    + Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

    + Provide speech-language therapy services in accordance with physician orders and student IEPs

    + Document services and progress accurately

    + Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success

    Requirements

    + Licensure: Active California SLP License

    + Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by contract/state)

    + Experience: Prior school-based experience required

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Additional documentation may be required (CPR, TB test, health certificate, Certificate of Clearance, etc.)
