Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, In-Person Contractor

Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (flexible options available)

Estimated Start Date: November 10, 2025

Contract Duration: Through the 2025–2026 School Year

Position Overview:

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide therapy services to K–12 students across multiple schools in Cumberland County. This role involves conducting evaluations, delivering therapy in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician orders, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct student evaluations and assessments

+ Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

+ Provide direct therapy services in school settings

+ Document services and progress in accordance with care plans

+ Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals

+ Stay compliant with all professional and regulatory standards

Minimum Requirements:

+ Active SLP Licensure from the North Carolina Board of Examiners

+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by contract)

+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
