Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Lead System Administrator to provide high-touch, white-glove technical support to C-suite executives and senior leadership at a prestigious financial services firm based in Menlo Park, California. This is a hands-on technical leadership role—not a people management position—ideal for someone with deep expertise in enterprise IT support and a passion for simplifying complex systems for non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
-Deliver onsite and remote support for a global user base, with a focus on Menlo Park-based leadership including founders, partners, and numerous MDs
-Provide white-glove support to C-suite executives, ensuring seamless technology experiences
-Lead technical operations and support initiatives in Menlo Park, collaborating with a global support team
-Serve as the senior technical point of contact for Windows environments
-Manage and troubleshoot VDI environments, Thin Clients, and Lenovo laptops
-Administer MDM solutions, primarily Intune, and support Active Directory configurations
-Perform base-level system administration tasks, including rack and stack hardware setup
-Participate in occasional on-call rotations
-Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Skills and Requirements
-8+ years of experience in IT Support and System Administration
-Strong experience with L3 support and willingness to provide L1/L2 support
-Proven experience in financial services environments—ideally within private equity, hedge funds, or investment banking
-Strong technical proficiency across hardware and software platforms
-Experience supporting Windows OS
-Hands-on experience with VDI, Thin Clients, Lenovo hardware, MDM/Intune, and Active Directory
-Strong white glove support experience, supporting C-Levels and other senior stakeholders
