Job Description
Insight Global is seeking 2 EMA Technicians to support one of our largest federal clients. As an EMA Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic electro-mechanical assembly tasks in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Your duties will include assembling components and systems according to detailed drawings, schematics, and process documentation, ensuring each build meets quality and compliance standards such as IPC 620 for cables, harnesses, and box-level assemblies. You will actively participate in team communication to ensure smooth transitions between operations and provide support and training to fellow technicians as needed. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area is essential, along with the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety protocols. You will be expected to perform First Piece Inspections and Operator Self Inspections (OSI), ensuring the integrity of OSI documentation and flagging any discrepancies or required updates to process documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for verifying that all materials, tools, and chemicals are properly labeled and within their shelf life or calibration period. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

Skills and Requirements
- 1-2 Years of experience as an EMA Technician
- Able to read technical drawings/interpret work instructions
- IPC 620 Certification
- Active Secret Clearance
- Computer proficiency; basic web browsing; able to follow the instructions on the computer
- Ability to use hand tools, Able to build cables/box assemblies
