    As an intern you will participate in our nationwide Internship & Co-Op Program, LEAP, where you will have the opportunity to Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company.     In this position, you will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems (CMS) Business. This position is expected to be hybrid with on-site support local to our York, PA, Sterling Heights, MI, or Phoenix, AZ sites. Accounting majors have the potential to be remote. Relocation will not be offered; housing is not provided.

    As an Accounting / Finance intern, you will:

    + Support one of the Accounting or Finance teams in everyday processes

    + Report to the Manager / Director of responsible function selected and will work directly with various leaders and specialist

    + Develop professional skills in Accounting and Finance in a manufacturing environment in the Defense Industry

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree Program pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

    + Should have the ability to perform entry-level program finance analysis, basic concepts of accounting, and/or financial management

    + Solid computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

    + Basic problem solving acuity and basic experience with Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Excel

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills, to include the ability to prepare professional business letters and memorandums

    + Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under deadlines

    + Sound professional judgment, business acumen, attention to detail, and ability to plan and organize

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $39861 - $53766

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

     

    Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
