The role you'll contribute:

The Director of Physician Compensation and Contracting leads the development of AdventHealth Great Lakes Region physician, resident, residency faculty and advanced practice clinicians (Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners) compensation standards and manages the compensation review process at all hospital and ambulatory sites throughout the organization. This position maintains and makes recommendations related to physician and advanced practice clinician compensation. The Director provides leadership and competency on physician compensation matters. This role is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of specific pay practices to ensure legal compliance with AdventHealth policies, state, and federal regulations. The Director of Physician Compensation and Contracting manages and coaches support staff in the data analysis and implementation of physician and other designated non-physician functions.

+ Leads and mentors a team of compensation and contract professionals.

+ Develops and implements physician compensation strategies and plans.

+ Manages physician contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

+ Analyzes compensation data to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.

+ Collaborates with leadership to align compensation plans with organizational goals.

+ Oversees the administration of physician compensation programs.

+ Provides guidance and support on compensation-related issues.

+ Conducts market research to stay informed of industry trends and best practices.

+ Ensures accurate and timely processing of physician compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed** **:

+ Bachelor's Required

+ Master's Preferred

+ Five or more years of Work Experience Required

+ Ability to work independently as well as maintain effective physician and associate relationships

+ Working knowledge of Stark Law

+ Experience with contract management system
