Are you living your life's work? Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced **Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse (CWOCN)** to join our patient-centered care team. This role serves as a clinical expert and consultant, providing direct care, education, and support to patients and families dealing with ostomy, wound, continence, and skin care needs. The WOCN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to uphold high standards of care and contributes to ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: + Deliver expert assessment, treatment recommendations, and education for patients with wounds, ostomies, pressure ulcers, fistulas, and incontinence. + Develop and maintain protocols and practice standards for wound and ostomy care. + Serve as a resource for nursing staff and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences. + Monitor patient outcomes and maintain relevant data and statistical reports. + Support staff development through education and consultation. + Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives. + Maintain compliance with hospital policies and federal/state regulations. + Promote a culture of safety, learning, and collaboration. Required Credentials: + Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania State License + Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWOCN) Education & Experience: + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent + Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in wound and ostomy care We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
