Summary
+ Prepare Cost Proposals in the Federal Marketplace, including cost narrative and financial spreadsheets. Act as liaison for cost proposal-related matters between Proposal Managers, Service Center staff, and Chenega subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
+ Provide pricing analysis and development support for Government proposals and contract modifications.
+ No supervisory responsibilities
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
_Minimum Qualifications:_
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_
+ Expert proficiency in MS Excel.
+ Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS), and other Government-related applicable standards and regulations.
+ Knowledge of market and competition.
+ Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem-solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

+ Planning/Organizing – Prioritize and plans work activities; Schedules pricing reviews and meetings to review data; Organizes inputs received by SMEs and the overall cost volume; Keeps accurate records of cost data for backup; Develops realistic action plans.

+ Language Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotations, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or Government regulations; Ability to write cost narratives, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
+ Mathematical Skills – Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations; Ability to create, implement, and verify formulas in Excel spreadsheets such as lookups.
+ Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data; Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
