    The Opportunity

     

    This position works out of our ARDx locations such as **Lake Forest IL or Charlottesville, VA** in the Informatics Division. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.

     

    As a **Global Product Manager** for Cloud Platform Solutions, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of cloud-native software products that transform client and patient experiences. You will drive innovation by aligning customer needs with scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud technologies. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering differentiated value across global markets, contributing to our mission of improving lives through better health and energy management.

     

    What You’ll Work On

    Product Strategy Development:

    + Conduct market research and competitive analysis with a focus on cloud-native trends, multi-cloud strategies, and platform capabilities.

    + Benchmark best-in-class cloud solutions and emerging technologies to support data and ML/AI capabilities

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize cloud-specific requirements, including scalability, security, and compliance.

    + Define product strategy and roadmap for cloud-based offerings, including SaaS, PaaS, and hybrid deployments.

    + Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to identify market needs and use cases.

    + Prioritize features based on clients’ business value and feedback.

    + Champion business model innovation, and industry leading, digital friendly methodologies to guide capital allocation and measure customer and business success.

    + Conduct product discovery sessions, internally and externally.

    + Stay at the forefront of industry trends by participating in marketing leading events and speaking engagements. Share findings with the org and incorporate learnings into content and materials.

    Product Planning and Execution:

    + Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch activities – lead Discovery efforts, offer inputs to Design and team to Build and Launch new product offerings

    + Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction.

    + Develop detailed product epics, features, stories and acceptance criteria.

    + Coordinate with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely and high-quality product documentation development, updates and delivery.

    + Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business units, clients, and vendors.

    + Participate in industry events and speaking engagement.

    + Partner with Marketing and Sales to update product playbooks and supplemental training materials to ensure consistent, up-to-date product feature/benefit and technical knowledge exists across the org.

    Product Performance Analysis:

    + Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success and impact of software products.

    + Analyze data and user feedback to evaluate product performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform decision-making.

    + Prepare regular reports and presentations to demonstrate product achievements and address challenges.

    + Complies with regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field master’s a plus

    + 4+ years of experience in product management roles, preferably in software development or technology-driven organizations.

    + Proven track record of managing successful IT/software products from conception to launch and post-launch activities.

    + _Ability to travel 10%._

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

    + Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

    + Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable product plans.

    + Ability to deliver clear and compelling presentations to diverse audiences, including executives, customers, and technical teams.

    + Experience with creating product documentation, release notes, and training materials.

    + Budget management skills

    + Agency management skills

    + 6+ years of experience in a similar role

    + MBA

    + Product management experience in medical products or services preferred.

    + Strong presentation & communication skills, strategic planning.

    + Critical thinking and analysis of market conditions.

    The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
