Overnight Healthcare Security Officer - Bellmore, NY

**Pay Rate:** $19.00/hour

**Schedule:** Various overnight shifts:

+ Friday – Sunday: 8:30 PM – 8:30 AM

+ Monday – Wednesday: 8:30 PM – 8:30 AM

+ Thursday: 8:30 PM – 8:30 AM

Job Summary:

The Overnight Healthcare Security Officer will provide a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors in Bellmore, NY. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing facility policies, and responding to incidents during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Patrol facility to ensure safety and security of residents, staff, and property.

+ Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, documenting actions as required.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, ensuring restricted access is enforced.

+ Communicate effectively with management, staff, and residents.

+ Maintain professional demeanor and comply with all facility and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

+ Must have a valid Security Guard license or be willing to obtain one.

+ Must have a reliable means of transportation to and from work.

+ Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

+ Prior security or healthcare experience required.

Working Conditions:

+ Overnight shifts, including weekends.

+ Requires walking, standing, and patrolling for extended periods.

+ May respond to incidents requiring physical or mental alertness.
